2) Complete sweepstakes registration form by clicking on "Sweepstakes" tab at www.facebook.com/leitersburgcinemas.

RULES & REGULATIONS

All contestants must be 13 years of age or older at the time of entry. Entrants under the age of 18 must get permission of a parent or legal guardian in order to be eligible.

All contestants must be a legal citizen of Maryland, Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, Virginia or West Virginia.

The Leitersburg Cinemas LLC Summer Sweepstakes giveaway entry process will end at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, May 30th. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Employees of Leitersburg Cinemas LLC or High Rock, their immediate family, and any other persons who reside at their home or residence are not eligible for entry. Furthermore any and all applications from these individuals will be deemed void among entry.

The giveaway consists of one (1) grand prize. The grand prize consists of a "Free Dinner and a Movie for up to (4) people" in the form of a Leitersburg Cinemas Gift Card totaling $105.00. Movie selection, date and meal options are limited to publicly announced Dinner and a Movie events, normally every other Saturday. See website for details.

One entry per person.

Chances of winning depend on the number of valid entries.

Entries will consist of Facebook Sweepstakes registrations only.

Emails used to register will be added to the Leitersburg Cinemas Weekly E-Newsletter. Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time. A valid email is required.

Upon the closure of the entry period one (1) grand prize winner will be chosen at random by an employee or representative of Leitersburg Cinemas LLC.

The giveaway winner will be contacted within forty-eight (48) hours of the drawing via e-mail.

Career Opportunity: Director of Groups Sales and Advertising

Leitersburg Cinemas seeks a dynamic sales professional with event planning experience to successful market/sell the highly effective on-screen advertising AND sell/plan group movie events/facility rental activities, including Dinner and a Movie events on a bi-monthly basis.

Job Description:

Sales of on-screen advertising – successful candidate will recruit new clients for the highly effective on-screen advertising options offered by Leitersburg Cinemas. KPIs will exist for monthly sales targets, weekly emails/phone calls and weekly meetings. Coordination with video production team at High Rock as needed and with Leitersburg Cinemas’ management for scheduling of advertiser’s on-screen advertising.

Sales/coordination of groups – successful candidate will recruit new and existing organizations for group movie events and coordinate all details with organization’s contact person. Group opportunities exist for school field trips, sports team/leagues, non-profit fundraisers, class reunions and birthday parties.

Sales/coordination of facility rental – successful candidate will recruit new and existing clients for special movie screenings, non-profit fundraisers, seminars, training workshops, business meetings and team building events. Leitersburg Cinemas can accommodate events for small groups (up to 36 people) in our VIP lounges equipped with audio/visual equipment or for large groups (up to 450 people) in our largest theater.

Sales/coordination of Dinner and a Movie events – coordination of bi-monthly Dinner and a Movie events open to the public, private Dinner and a Movie events and private Lunch and a Movie events. Successful candidate is expected to be on-site for events. Successful candidate will coordinate available movie selections with Leitersburg Cinemas’ management, coordinate with caterer on meal options/other details, setup event details for online ordering by customers, and coordinate ALL aspects of setting up/on-site logistics of Dinner and a Movie events.

TAM certification for serving alcohol is preferred. Some events will include the serving of beer, wine, etc. when applicable permits are available.

Additional Information:

• Previous sales and marketing experience is preferred
• Previous experience in event planning is preferred
• Must be able to work independently and work in a team environment
• Must be detailed oriented
• Must have excellent communication skills, responding via phone and email quickly
• Attendance required at all weekly management meetings (Mondays). Successful candidate will present upcoming group activities and facility rental events to management. Discussion of details.
• Successful candidate will turn in a monthly sales report on or before the 5th of the following month
• Successful candidate will report to Owner and Corporate Office Manager
• Successful candidate will be given high-quality marketing materials, including brochures, business cards, etc.

This position is highly commission based.

Leitersburg Cinemas seeks a qualified caterer for Dinner and a Movie Events for the remainder of 2012.

Brief Description:

• Dinner and a Movie events are held every other Saturday to general public.
• Meals are served to guest’s theater seat, equipped with a tray and a small light.
• Three different movies are typically offered during Dinner and a Movie events in our VIP lounges #6 (32 seats), #7 (32 seats) and #1 (96 seats). Please note, theater #1 will include 58 seats beginning on 2/1/12. The remaining seats will be added later in the year upon demand.
• Showtimes are typically 5:00 PM, 5:20 PM and 5:40 PM for Dinner and a Movie events.
• Ticket ordering for guests is done online through Leitersburg Cinemas’ website or a third party website. Guests pre-order their entrée choice.
• A final meal count and entrée selection is given to caterer no later than 10 AM the day of the event
• Entrée choices selected by caterer should be meals that are easy to cut or stab (i.e. crab cakes).
• (3) Entrees are typically offered for each event.
• Caterer staging area is available at flat snack bar in the north lobby.
• Dinner and a Movie events typically sell-out each week.
• 158 guests is considered a sell-out.

"Greencastle", Movie Shot in and Around Hagerstown Wins Film Festival Award in California; Film to Premiere to Public in Hagerstown March 31

"Greencastle" Movie Is Now An Award-Winning Film

Greencastle, PA - "Greencastle," a movie written, directed and staring Greencastle resident Koran Dunbar, has completed a world premier and its first festival competition in Idyllwild, CA.

Dunbar brought home the film's first award for Best Sound/Audio. The festival, about 2 hours southeast of Los Angeles, ran from January 12-15.

"Greencastle" is a quirky off beat faith-based drama about man’s search for meaning amidst the ache of despair. The story chronicles Poitier, a single father who works as an Assistant Manager at a small town pet shop, as he enters a "quarter-life crisis" impelled by a recent tragedy. Greencastle intertwines lives of loneliness and disconnection, fatefully leading Poitier toward an unexpected and sublime awakening.

"Our congratulations go out to John Avarese for his sound mixing and Matthew Datcher for directing audio throughout the film," said Dunbar.
